Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

  • Set and drive the UI/UX design vision for the product's digital interfaces, such as web interfaces, desktop apps, and native HMI systems.
  • Participate in UX research and design processes, iterating and finalizing UX designs across various platforms used by the company.
  • Collaborate daily with frontend developers, product owners, and other designers; mentor and guide UI/UX colleagues in best practices.
  • Apply strong graphic design skills to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Update UI design based on customer and user feedback, market adaptation, or changes in the brand style guide.
  • Communicate and present design solutions to customers and stakeholders.
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards within the teams.
  • Review and optimize existing user interface designs by identifying and troubleshooting UX problems.
  • Support acceptance, usability, and accessibility tests to ensure design implementations meet user needs and quality standards.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

Education: Academic degree in Communication Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or a similar field;

Experience and Know-how: Strong graphic design skills, with a good understanding of color and layout;

Knowledge of User-Centered Design methods;

Familiarity with user interface design patterns and guidelines for responsive web applications, desktop software, and HMI systems;

Understanding of accessibility principles and standards (e.g., WCAG);

Experience with up-to-date design tools (ideally Sketch, Abstract, Figma);

Personality: Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills;

Ability to work and communicate design solutions in iterations;

Growth mindset – willing to learn whatever you don’t know yet;

Willingness to work in a multinational team environment;

Accountability and proactivity.

Communication: Good communication skills, both in Portuguese and English.
