Location: Remote (Portugal-based) with occasional on-site visits to Lisbon and Africa

Job Description:

We are seeking a Business Analyst with more than 4 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Tax Process Analysis and Data Analytics for Tax, along with experience in optimizing tax processes and supporting compliance efforts. This is a remote role with the requirement to travel to Africa as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct requirements analysis and definition, focusing on Tax Process Analysis and Data Analytics for Tax.
• Establish and support governance structures for tax processes.
• Analyze, design, and implement process optimizations related to tax functions.
• Support the technical team in matters of tax compliance and reporting.
• Develop training content and plans to address tax business needs.
• Execute training sessions from a tax business perspective, ensuring knowledge transfer to key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure alignment between tax processes and business goals.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in similar roles.
• Proven expertise in requirements analysis and process definition for tax-related functions.
• Strong understanding of tax compliance and reporting requirements.
• Experience in designing and implementing process optimizations.
• Ability to develop and deliver training from a tax business perspective.
• Fluent in English.
• Willingness to travel to Africa for project-related activities.
