We are looking for a Revenue Manager to join our pre-opening team at Andaz Lisbon.

Expected to open in Q2 2025, Andaz Lisbon will offer guests an exciting new luxury lifestyle hotel in the Portuguese capital - and it will represent a key milestone in Hyatt's continued brand growth in Southern Europe. Andaz Lisbon is set to become the second Hyatt-branded hotel in Lisbon. Located in the center of Lisbon's bustling Baixa district and situated along the main pedestrian road, Rua Augusta, the hotel will be comprised of five separate buildings, including the former offices of one of the major banks in Portugal, Banco Português de Investimento (BPI). This central building of the hotel will offer 170 guestrooms, with the surrounding four satellite buildings of the hotel offering guests various private suites to choose from. This unique Urban Resort in the city center will allow guests to fully embrace the locale and experience authentic Lisbon.

About The Role

The Revenue Manager is responsible to provide revenue accounting leadership and business best practices to the hotel.

The Revenue Manager has responsibility for all technical accounting aspects of hotel's revenue streams. This role will provide key leadership surrounding the hotel's revenue recognition policies and will regularly interface with the sales, operations and marketing organizations. The Revenue Manager is also responsible for royalty accounting and invoicing.

Main Duties Include

  • Oversee the hotel's revenue management with a focus on maximizing overall revenue, through the implementation of effective pricing and distribution strategies, inventory management, and optimisation techniques
  • Define and implement the revenue strategy and implement pricing recommendations across all channels and market segments
  • Manage and maintain Hyatt revenue management systems
  • Actively participate in the review of the Hotels' annual budget and strategy plans
  • Regularly review and critically assess distribution channel strategies

Qualifications

  • Ideally with a degree or equivalent qualification
  • Relevant experience in a similar role
  • Strong ability to analyze data and trends to make informed decisions
  • Expertise in using statistical analysis and financial modeling to forecast revenue
  • Ability to identify patterns in booking behavior and market demand
  • Deep understanding of the hotel industry, market dynamics, and competitor behavior.
  • Ability to assess market conditions and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Knowledge of distribution channels, including OTA (Online Travel Agencies), GDS (Global Distribution System), and direct bookings
  • Experience in forecasting future revenue based on historical data, market conditions, and upcoming events
  • Ability to create and manage revenue budgets, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Proficiency in using Excel and other data analysis tools
  • Pre-Opening Experience an advantage
