With an initial focus on spend management, spend management platforms use Astrada's unified API to create a "bring your own card" experience, enabling their customers to connect their preferred credit cards with their spend management software.

Are you ready to make a real impact in the world of financial technology? We're seeking a passionate and skilled Software Engineer to join us on this exciting journey, where you'll play a crucial role in crafting innovative, customer-centric products.

What You'll Do:

• Innovate: Design and build secure, reliable software with an emphasis on API and system design, helping create seamless experiences for our users.
• Collaborate & Drive Impact: Work closely with Product Managers, stakeholders, and your team to define and deliver innovative solutions within the Astrada platform.
• Own Your Work: Design, build, maintain, document, and own reliable, fault-tolerant software solutions.
• Champion Quality: Use the latest in test automation, monitoring, and deployment techniques to ensure high-quality products.
• Grow & Learn: Be part of a culture that values mentorship, code reviews, and collaborative problem-solving.
• Contribute Beyond Code: Help shape the future of our company by participating in hiring efforts, contributing to strategic initiatives, and guiding product decisions that align with our goals.

What We're Looking For:

• 3 to 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a passion for building and maintaining scalable systems using high-level programming languages.
• Experience writing and automating tests to ensure seamless deployments and robust performance.
• Familiarity with cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, as well as Infrastructure-as-Code solutions.
• You thrive in collaborative environments and have a growth mindset that embraces continuous learning and improvement.

Bonus Points For:

• Exposure to distributed systems and API economy
• Production experience with JavaScript, Typescript, and Node.js or Go
• Experience with Function-as-a-Service (FaaS) and AWS services
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tools
• Background in Domain Driven Design (DDD)
• Prior experience in fintech or startups—where innovation is at the core of everything we do!
