Our mission is to make shipping more sustainable and affordable by utilizing the existing resources of travelers. We are looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic and creative team in revolutionizing the delivery industry.

As a Senior UX/UI Designer at Nimber, you will be responsible for leading the design process from concept to launch. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and marketers to create intuitive and visually appealing designs that enhance the user experience. Your role will be crucial in shaping the overall look and feel of our platform, ensuring it is user-friendly and meets the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proven skills in defining user experiences for a variety of applications, products and platforms with strong knowledge of conception and prototyping
• Ability to develop strong working relationships with clients
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with natural ability to articulate and defend design decisions
• Attention to detail
• Ability to excite and engage those around you to bring about the best outcomes
• Excited to work in a community of designers and being open to share ideas, review the work of others and contribute to Design System
• Willingness to take over task cross-products and topic ownership as well as educating Junior UX Designers
• Experience leading the creation of digital products and platforms
• A portfolio showcasing innovative design solutions across a breadth of business verticals
• 5+ years of experience doing what you do
• Fluent in English, German optional

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in a fast-paced environment
• Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and process
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
• Experience with user research, usability testing, and creating wireframes and prototypes
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience in mentoring and guiding junior designers is a plus
• Passion for creating user-friendly and visually appealing designs
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus
