B2B Technical Writer

Job Summary: 

We are the leading ethical AI dataset marketplace and we’re seeking a skilled B2B Technical Writer to join our growing team based out of Lisbon, Portugal.  

As part of our dynamic environment, you will be responsible for creating clear, engaging, and technically accurate content that clearly articulates our product offering and value proposition to U.S. Enterprise and Middle Market B2B decision makers. This role involves close collaboration with our product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to develop documentation, white papers, case studies, and marketing materials that articulate the value of our AI dataset marketplace to potential customers and partners. 

Preference will be given to candidates based in Portugal or the EU who are native English speakers or have native-level proficiency. Lisbon-based candidates will have a hybrid schedule (2 days in office). 

Key Responsibilities: 

• B2B Content Development: Write AI-focused B2B content including white papers, case studies, blog posts, customer success stories, and product briefs, tailored to the needs of decision-makers and technical buyers within the U.S. Enterprise and Middle Market audiences. 

• Product Expertise: Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to deeply understand our AI products and translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise language for non-technical business stakeholders. 

• Content Strategy & Thought Leadership: Support the marketing team by developing content that positions our AI startup as a thought leader in the industry, including trend reports, opinion pieces, and feature articles. 

• Localization: Ensure that all content is relevant and localized for our European business audience, with a focus on cultural and regional nuances in Portugal and other EU countries. 

• SEO & Content Optimization: Implement SEO best practices to ensure content ranks highly in relevant searches, helping drive organic traffic and lead generation. 

• Collaborative Writing: Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), UX designers, and engineers to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with the product's vision and technical functionality. 

• Agile Workflows: Manage writing projects in an agile environment, coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver timely, high-quality content for product launches, marketing campaigns, and client onboarding. Experience with Jira is a plus. 

• Editing and Review: Edit and proofread materials for clarity, consistency, grammar, and compliance with our brand’s tone of voice. 

Qualifications: 

• Location: Based in Portugal or the EU; preference for native English speakers or those with native-level proficiency in English. Lisbon-based candidates will have a hybrid schedule (2 days in office). 

• Experience: 5+ years of B2B technical writing experience, ideally within AI, machine learning, SaaS, or emerging technologies. Experience working with technical teams on complex software products is a plus. 

• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of AI concepts, including machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), deep learning, data analytics, and cloud-based platforms. Ability to grasp technical concepts and explain them simply to business audiences. 

• Writing Skills: Exceptional writing skills with the ability to break down complex technical topics into clear and engaging content. Prior experience writing for the AI or tech industry is a strong advantage. 

• Collaboration & Communication: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, startup environment. Comfortable working remotely with distributed teams. 

• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in both technical content and the presentation of materials. 

• SEO & Content Strategy: Knowledge of SEO best practices and how to apply them in technical and B2B writing. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Familiarity with AI technologies and concepts like natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and neural networks. 

• Solid understanding of the U.S. market, with an emphasis on Enterprise and Middle Market B2B audiences 

• Experience in technical writing or product documentation for SaaS or AI tools.\
