GDPR Support Specialist and Contract Manager

Job Purpose

The GDPR Support Specialist and Contract manager will work closely with Data protection Officer (DPO), legal counsel and internal teams to support GDPR-compliant processes and procedures for data handling, providing legal support and guidance on contractual matters.

Key Accountabilities

• Provide guidance and support on GDPR compliance as it relates to clinical trial data, including personal data processing, data transfer agreements and privacy impact assessments.
• Identify legal risks associated with contractual agreements.
• Ensure proper documentation and record keeping of all data protection activities in accordance with GDPR and other relevant legislation.
• Provide legal support to internal teams.

Your profile

Education: Bachelor´s degree in law.

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience with GDPR and contract management, preferably in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.

Skills/knowledge/behavioural Competencies

• Certification in GDPR, Data Protection or Privacy Law.
• Solid understanding of GDPR and privacy regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing contracts and maintaining organized records of contract documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Collaborative.
• Proactive.
• Organized.

Work Location:

• 2 days a week in our brand new Porto Office
• You must have the permanent right to work in Portugal to be considered for this position
