As a Senior Actuarial Analyst, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of actuarial services, mentor junior colleagues, and support key projects in the Western Europe/Germany or UK pensions market.
What You’ll Do
- Technical Expertise: Serve as an expert on pensions, particularly within Western Europe/Germany/UK, addressing complex actuarial issues.
- Data Analysis: Produce and analyze data reports for clients, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all deliverables.
- Project Management: Plan, prioritize, and deliver assigned project activities, keeping track of daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
- Team Collaboration: Work with consulting office teams, provide support to senior colleagues, and mentor junior analysts.
- Risk Management: Identify and address risks or errors early, following company procedures.
- Compliance: Stay up to date on regulatory and statutory requirements, ensuring compliance in all work.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, offering technical insights and solutions.
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
Skills
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a solid actuarial background and strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have:
- FIA qualification or good progress towards it.
- Experience in actuarial valuations or consultancy, particularly in the pensions sector.
- In-depth knowledge of Western Europe/UK DB Pensions, including familiarity with legislative requirements such as GMP.
- Strong Excel skills for high-level data analysis and reconciliation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
- A proven ability to work collaboratively, support team members, and foster a culture of teamwork.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
