We are looking for an Amazing: RedHat Linux Sysadmin
Seniority: Mid Level (3+ years)
Type of position: Hybrid from Oporto. Candidates must be living in Portugal already!
The amazing you, will have:
- Installation and Maintenance of Linux Servers: Deployment, configuration, and upkeep of both virtual and physical servers, focusing on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6/7.
- Production System Support: Ensuring continuous support for live production environments across physical and virtual platforms, with a focus on minimizing downtime.
- User and Application Support: Providing technical assistance to users and application teams to resolve issues and enhance user experience
- ITIL-Based Change and Request Management: Managing service requests and changes according to the company's ITIL framework to maintain alignment with best practices.
- Coordination and Execution of Technical Operations: Planning and carrying out scheduled maintenance activities, such as server patching and data migration
- Incident and Problem Management: Handling incidents, troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, and supporting applications to enhance system reliability.
- Production Improvement Projects: Collaborating on projects focused on improving production systems and operational efficiency. Advanced (L2 & L3)
- Linux Infrastructure Support: Providing in-depth technical support for complex issues in the Linux environment, handling advanced troubleshooting and resolution
- Compliance with Structural Constraints: Participating in maintenance and interventions, both during business and non-business hours, to ensure system stability and compliance with operational requirements.
- On-Call Support: Participating in on-call rotations to ensure system reliability and support outside standard working hours.
