Your Role & Responsibility

Design, deploy, and maintain applications on Managed Kubernetes using Helm Charts and Kubernetes Manifests.
Administer and maintain Linux-based containers and systems.
Manage software dependencies and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
Monitor and maintain the operational health of infrastructure systems, including Kubernetes clusters, networks, applications, databases, and CI/CD pipelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve system failures, slowdowns, deployment issues, and network routing problems on time.
Collaborate with systems and software engineers to understand system behavior, provide insights, and drive necessary improvements.
Develop and automate standard operating procedures for handling common failure scenarios.
Work with development teams to address production issues and implement preventative measures for recurring incidents.
Enhance monitoring and alerting strategies to improve infrastructure observability.
Document known issues and resolution procedures to accelerate incident response.
Conduct post-mortems and root cause analysis to implement long-term reliability improvements.

Required Technical & Professional Expertise

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a related role.
Strong expertise in Linux-based systems and networking.
Proficiency in Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in Helm Charts.
Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) principles.
Expertise in containerization.
Extensive experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or Ansible.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with Angular-based front-end development and integration.
Familiarity with Java-based back-end development and integration.
Experience in troubleshooting Java application performance and front-end issues.
Exposure to secure software development practices for Java and Angular ecosystems.
