POSITION DETAILS:

DEPARTMENT: Software Engineering

LOCATION: Remote, in Portugal

REPORTS TO: Software Engineering Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a skilled software developer with experience in Node.js, PHP, and PostgreSQL. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions that meet the needs of our clients. You will work closely with our product managers, designers and QA analysts, and other developers to ensure that our solutions are delivered with quality.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Design, develop, and maintain software solutions using mainly Node.js, PHP, and PostgreSQL
  • Collaborate with team leaders, product managers, and other developers from discovery to delivery of solutions
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
  • Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure that software solutions meet functional and performance requirements
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in software development using Node.js, PHP, and PostgreSQL
  • Experience with Git, Linux, and Agile development methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team
