As a Controlling & Performance Management Consultant you are the first point of contact for the CFO and Head of Controlling when it comes to translating strategic goals into business concepts. As part of the PwC Germany team located in Lisbon you will primary support German-based and multinational companies in their Finance Transformation journey.

Key tasks:

  • Engage in diverse Finance projects with a broad customer portfolio, both in Germany and internationally;
  • Translate strategic objectives into effective financial concepts for corporate governance;
  • Contribute to the design of optimized planning, controlling and reporting processes to increase efficiency and automation;
  • Develop holistic steering models to enhance performance-orientated decision-making;
  • Improve organizational structures and strengthen the role of Finance as a business partner to foster collaboration;
  • Transfer steering logics and reporting concepts into KPI dashboards for the Finance function and Management team;
  • Collaborate with CFOs and Controlling Heads for seamless communication and alignment;
  • Contribute to the overall development of Finance Transformation initiatives.

Your Profile:

  • You have successfully completed your studies in business administration (or a comparable program) with a focus on finance and/or controlling;
  • You are passionate about the business management of companies as well as digitalization and automation possibilities in controlling;
  • You have gained initial practical experience in controlling or group management. Knowledge of consolidation, planning, and group reporting tools is also advantageous;
  • You have a proficient knowledge of common MS Office programs (e.g., PowerPoint and Excel);
  • You have strong communication skills, teamwork, responsibility, and flexibility;
  • You can communicate effortlessly in English. Knowledge of the German language is also advantageous;
  • You feel comfortable in interdisciplinary teams and in a hybrid setup of remote work and travel.
